Salary: $25-$30/hour depending on qualifications/certifications

 

Job Description: The City of Vesta is accepting applications for the position of a Public Works Director. This person should have basic mechanical ability, knowledge of equipment and tools used on the job. Class “D” Wastewater Operator’s License and Class “D” Water Operator’s License or the ability to obtain licensing with time set by the Vesta City Council. This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Public Works Department including but not limited to street and stormwater; parks; water and wastewater facilities and system. Work involves the enforcement of all local, state, and federal safety and environmental rules and regulations.
